Artist statement
In a world with constant visual media, there will always be a fight to grab a viewer’s attention. I strive to create identities that are not just aesthetically pleasing or eye-catching but resonate on a deeper level. In my eyes, strong branding isn't just a logo or a color palette. It's the voice, the story, the feeling a company wants to evoke. I find the most joy in collaborating with others to uncover a business’ core values and translate them into a visual language that speaks directly to its target audience.

ARTIST BIO
Lydia Dorsey is in the US Army National Guard and is an artist from Quad Cities, Illinois. She is currently studying graphic design at Northern Illinois University where she has mastered adobe software and creating designs. She has specializes in typography, brand identity, and visual marketing. Lydia Co-Owns a small business that prints and sells artistic posters and wall art. She is set to graduate May 2024 and will start her job search while continuing her small business.
