Artist Statement
Throughout my life I have always had an interest in the arts, specifically animation. As a medium, animation can convey a plethora of emotional storytelling and capture a varied audience. With such a unique way of expressing yourself or one's story, I was easily drawn. I like the idea that I can make my characters come to life and show what I feel because words just weren't enough for me to communicate these ideas. Animation has given me and others the ability to share a dream.

ARTIST BIO
Victoria Mankowski is an illustrator and 2D animator who has a background in Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, and Adobe Animate. Victoria resides in the quiet, Chicago suburbs and has received an Associates in Art from Harper College, a Bachelor in Time Arts (Animation), and will soon be attending Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw, Poland. Victoria has created numerous short animations and illustrations for a handful of clients and is currently working on a ten-minute pilot episode as she steps into the industry. Their inspiration for majoring in animation was Pokemon, for its creative idea of making “magical” animals, and Disney. In their spare time, she enjoys illustrating, animating, and interacting with wildlife, especially rescuing animals in need, even if it leads to health scares.
