Artist Statement

While creating art, I think about the color palette the most. I love using bright, saturated colors that make my art fun. Environments and character design are the general themes of most of my works. I like creating environments that the viewer can look at and think that it looks cozy or like a place they would like to hang out in. In my 3D works, lighting also plays a big part in my pieces. I love creating intricate 3D pieces but I believe the lighting is what really makes a piece interesting.

In my 2D work, I try to create interesting characters with in-depth backstories that show in their design. I love using bright saturated colors that make my art fun. Portraits and faces are another theme that is shown in my 2D art, in which I have been experimenting with oppositionals; bright and fun color schemes paired with bored or even sad body language and facial expressions. I think those two elements balance each other out and create a tempered tone for the piece.
