Artist Statement
My goal is to create a sense of what’s called “Harieth” for the viewer, meaning a sense of nostalgia or home sickness for a place or time the persons never physically been. My work revolves around this concept as I find myself in a constant state of Harieth towards fantasy worlds and varying time periods. I apply elements of those worlds and specific times to my work so the viewer can feel as if they can use my art to step through time.
