Artist Statement

My love for animation in art has always been one that is story-based, one that is shown through a sequence of events swaying the viewer’s heart. The best method to do this was through animation, whether it be 2D or 3D. Melding together my love for writing and motion graphics spawned my strange taste for eccentric tales told through interesting character design and environments. I often find myself coming back to both my writing and animation narratives that are endearing and charming in nature but have foreboding and unsettling undertones. My artwork often reveals simple melancholic themes through the juxtaposition between what is being viewed and the subtle tones that can be inferred through the story. I want to reflect on life as I see it, and while it may sometimes be dark, it is often done in a whimsical way. It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sounds like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest.
