Artist Statement

My artwork is a passion project as well as a means to show some of the wackiest shenanigans that you can see customers do while working in the most infamous field of entry level jobs, working in the horrid food industry. Having only ever worked in the food industry, I’ve been told numerous stories from my fellow coworkers about their experiences. My work is a short animation which depicts a story I’ve experienced personally while being the only person on shift that day. While using a multitude of different programs for animating, editing, and audio recording, my work is my first attempt at working with the professional standard of 24fps done by 2’s. And I figured what better way to do that then by continuing the tradition of telling old work stories to new people

Mr. Ledvina was born in the small town of Overland Park, Kansas, and moved to California at two years old. Attending Northern Illinois University in the fall semester of 2019 getting his BFA in Time Arts in spring of 2022. His works typically involve illustrations and sculptures though he has a more interest in animations. From a young age, Mr. Ledvina had wanted to learn how to turn illustrations into moving pictures which led towards a favoritism to animated series and a lack of interest in more live-action shows.
