Artist Statement

I am intrigued by dreams and mysticism and aim to explore these themes throughout my body of work. Since growing up, I struggled to relate to others and founce solace in otherworldly concepts. Paranormal activity and galaxy stuff have always interested me, and I found myself intrigued and simultaneously spooked by steampunk aesthetics as well.

Not only do I draw dreams and visions, but I keep a dream journal to record my dreams as well. I use various motifs inspired by these dreams (such as sacred geometry, space stuff, clocks, mazes, etc.) in my work to construe chaos. There are light and dark energies throughout every individual, and I like to explore these energies through themes of transcendence. I am a very duality-centered person and connect to both whimsical and mysterious imagery.
